powerless

Today is day six without power. Sixty percent of customers have had it restored. Not me. Not my grandparents. At least my neighborhood got moved into the Nov. 15 zone from the Nov. 22 area. Great.

There is something strange on the FPL web site: a photo gallery. It's a bunch of pictures of downed power lines and poles. As if we needed photos to prove their facilities were damaged and that's why they're taking so damn long to get power back to my neighborhood...

How does the law school expect us to exist the next 2 weeks without power? Are we suupposed to stay at school all night so we have a place to eat and don't have to read by candelight? For $30,000 a year, you'd think they'd supply us with a couple of meals so we don't have to live on non-perishable food.

hey, subway has been open since thursday! what's wrong with eating subway three meals a day for the next two weeks?

you'd think they could've opened more than just subway the past few days since people were spending about 12-14 hours on campus because they had nothing else to do and nowhere else to go.

this sucks all around.
