Speaking of OCI and all 9 (yeah, it's up to 9 now) employers that this school is bringing on campus, low paying jobs and trouble finding work, I forgot to post a link to this story in the Herald. Apparently in this city you can earn just as much money standing on the side of the road dressed in a Statute of Liberty costume as you can earn as a clerk at a law firm if you go through the career center's jobs database. That's awesome.

What's the deal with some employers on OCI requiring you to be in the top 10%? 1Ls don't get their rankings until after first year and most 2Ls in the top 10% should have competed during fall OCI and received a job.
Just because someone is in the top 10% doesn't mean they'll be a better law clerk.
It's also kindof annoying that unpaid jobs get mixed in with paying ones. They should be listed separately.

What should these firms be looking at then? How else would YOU decide in 1/2 hour who you liked and who you didn't. We all know some smooth talkers that blow at really working. What would YOU use to weed through the pool?
